Most of you know that my mom worked for and managed a small boutique here in town called Amaze for the past 3 years or so. She has that gift for helping people put together an adorable outfit, decorate their home, pick out the perfect gift for a friend AND do it all with a big smile and huge heart. After a series of events at her old store, it became apparent that Amaze was not where she was supposed to be anymore. So onto finding a new job. Since she loved what she had been doing, she and her BFF Melanie decided to open their own little boutique. Both my mom and Mel LOVE Christmas (just as much as I do!) so it only seemed fitting to have Christmas integrated into the store somehow. And then it happened….the name “Zuzu’s Petals – It’s a Wonderful Boutique” was born. Oh, and what a truly wonderful boutique it is! Lots of hard work and preparation went into this adorable little store – so many friends and family memebers worked tirelessly to make our Grand Opening on May 1st possible. Our first day went off almost flawlessly! We are so excited to watch this store grow and change and bring joy to everyone who comes in our door. I could not be more proud of my mom and Melanie for following their dream and making this store a reality. They have worked so hard and should be so incredibly proud of what they have accomplished!
